Midnight Approaches The darkness will consume you Enter the woods of Mhovan And feel thy breath The air is foul And thy hour draws near A dark Presence engulfs you As you peer through the trees I summon thee
2.
Far from the keep they flew Blackened skies they grew Summoned by the witch To feed on the the dead Blackened skies An impression of the night Witches howl And the crows they follow The fading candle light Your journey will grow dark The caw of the crow Will send chills down your spine An ancient spell Used just for the fun Brings forth carrion And the witches they just laugh Their hunger grows With every mile they fly Aimed right at your town There's nothing you can do Far from the keep they flew Blackened skies they grew Summoned by the witch To feed on the the dead The sun is blocked By the mass horde of the crows When they attack Your dead will pile high Their eyes are pale And the Resembles moon Through their eyes the witch sees all They tear the flesh Right off your bones A Silhouette Of the crows Encase a man And leave just the bones An endless feast Until the witches cease "I summon thee the birds death, Come to me and do thy bidding Feed on them all Answer thy call For you are under my control" I summon thee The birds of death Come to me and do thy bidding Feed on them all Answer thy call For you are under my control

1652 and the night is alive The night the beast in us is alive One night dedicated to horrid crimes Killing and witch craft and running through the night. Any other time would be certain death Burned at the stake or beaten to death Tonights the night of the witches eve You thought they were normal folk but now you'll see. They practiced spells for many months through Cast upon their enemies maybe you Boiling in the cauldron now is the time To rid the world of the terrible night. One night your crimes go ignored One night no one will adore A select few will use it at will Hide your family or they may be killed Once upon a midnight killing Witches run through the streets with envy Once upon a midnight killing They fucking kill everyone they see! Better run From the witches (At midnight they crawl from their chambers Misunderstood And full of rage You thought they were normal But on the witches eve... they kill!) Once upon a midnight One night your crimes go unsolved 1652 and the night is alive Tonight the beast within us will be alive One night dedicated to horrid crimes Killing and witch craft and running through the night. Any other time would be certain death Burned at the stake or beaten to death Tonights the night of the witches eve You thought they were normal folk but now you'll see. They practiced spells for many months through Cast upon their enemys and maybe you Boiling in the cauldron now is the time To rid the world of the terrible night. Warlock 07:12
Deep within the mind Of a man lost in time For the power of the Warlock He must give up His soul in return Once a normal man From the town of Mhovan An outcast all his life And obsessed with the afterlife He came across ancient scrolls The art of demon summoning Written across the top The Warlock Grimoire Wakened in the dead of night A black cloaked wraith knight, "I know what you have seen And now is the time for you to come clean I have watched you for many years Come with me ill lead you away" And that night the man disappears Left behind his life of fear. Many years past In his training from the Grimoires He can now at last uphold his true destiny, Call fourth the dead and demons He is now the warlock of Mhovan His power overlooked by the elders He's grown far beyond their control Now a master of the arts With one goal in mind He seeks an ultimate revenge To kill all that opposed him As he summons The great beast The ground will rot below his feet! Deep within the mind Of a man lost in time For the power of the Warlock He must give up His soul in return

its time to lower your cross They holy light has no power here 40,000 years enslaved at least Your soul would burn if you were a priest Ever 10 years we return To open the portal and we learn The ancient ways of the beast We have even talked to the deceased Oh in the hall we remember your call in the hall of the damned the ancient knowledge of Mhovan A cryptic chill engulfs your mind We are the sons of dark and time Carried far across the land The knowledge we bestow my friend Can't be calmed Can't be undone We are the last of the sons of the old Ripped through the portal of death Your soul could be shattered into dust Hall of Demonology Witches and warlocks study the damned In the Hall of Demonology All souls are cursed you'll pray for death You'll pray for death Oh in the hall we remember your call in the hall of the damned the ancient knowledge of Mhovan A cauldron boils A spell is cast The gate constructed of bones, the portal flickers, the gate opens Cloaked in black and armed with a staff They are fearless as they enter The demons gate. But though the Hall, all must pass Before the calling of the mass Oh in the hall we remember your call in the hall of the damned the ancient knowledge of Mhovan Hall of Demonology Witches and warlocks study the damned In the Hall of Demonology All souls are cursed you'll pray for death You'll pray for death!

I was summoned by a long lost friend through the passing years a disease has grown upon him He's a prisoner of his mind and i went to his aid I ride on the dreary path to the great citadel I approach the door as the rain begins to fall let in by a servant and led to my friend alone and cold i see hes not well He and his beloved sister the last of their kin Beneath the Citadel a madness lucks in them even the most minuscule sound drives him to panic and with all the dispair his sister has fallen ill and without her there he'll be trappen within his mind Theres not much i can do but simply be there talk some sense into him with his bleak dark stare he sees right through me I just dont know how much longer he'll have his sanity As I sit in my room I hear a knock at my door It was swung open in a panic "Shes dead! My sister is Dead!" his screams of terror still haunt me to this day I help him carry her coffin to her tomb benath the citadel lit by candle light he cries to the sky entombed in a hollow coffin his madness has overtaken him and his grief takes his soul beneath the citadel a madness lurks Days have past since he lost her the rain has not stopped and the house slowly crumbles he comes to my room with wide bloodshot eyes he speaks of a sound lurking beneath is he crazy? I've heard nothing perhaps you're hearing the storm "My sister lives! We burried her alive I heard banging days ago but i dare not to speak" "Oh the horror can't you hear her cries? her soul still haunts me" I run from the madness and watch the house as it crumbles to the ground as screams sore out beneath the citadel

1643 As she walks in the night she was seen A peasant outside the tavern Alerts the townsfolk to gather. As they peer at the warrant They Grab the peasant by the throat He swears to what he just seen They take a moment and then set out. As they March through the street Pitchforks high as they screech They Grab the keys of the armory They want the blood of Yazzertiz! But is she innocent of her crimes, The housewife known far and wide. To Doubt a witch of her crimes? Oh these were terrible times The Trial Of a "Witch" Named Yazzertiz Her sins were unknown by the mob Only a warrant from an unlikely source She may be innocent but they don't care She was caught by dawn And beaten half to death Brought to the sheriff and put on death row Questioned for her crimes But to deny would mean her doom The Trial Of a "Witch" Named Yazzertiz Her sins were unknown by the mob But was she innocent!? As they walk her down the isle By the men woman and children that know her They hang their heads Because They know her fate No one speaks now for it is to late. She was accused for murdering an infant When asked how does she plea, The the towns folk start erupt in a rage All baby killers are Sentenced to death! No one knows and no one cares About the facts or the burden she bares As she's pulled from her seat Brought the gallows with the Trial incomplete! As the rope is wrapped around her neck She just grins as she has something to be said I've been accused of murder, and accused wrong And I've been in hiding for far too long You shall forevermore feel my wrath, and disappears with a trace.

about

Album Concept (Fictional):
This album is Based in the years 1643 - 1652, known as the Grotesque 9 by the townsfolk of Mhovan. Things have changed much after the town council voted in the new sheriff whose actions and hatred for witchcraft causes blame to be pointed at unlikely suspects. But a secret council has risen to take Mhovan back into their hands, "The Sons of the Old" A group of Warlocks who dwell into the studies of Demonology and dark portal magic.

Through these years several notable Sorcerer's started to rise like the powerful Warlock dubbed the Warlock of Mhovan (explained in track 4), who Summoned a powerful Demigod named Klagith from the demon realm and set him to destroy Mhovan. The start of the whole conflict and the beginning of the Grotesque 9 was the unfairness and zero evidence outcome of the Trial of Yazzertiz (story told in track 7) although she turned out to be a Witch the crime she was accused of she did not commit. The Crow attacks on neighboring cities by an unknown witch did not help the hidden one's situation either. Thus, sparking off seasonal witch hunting called "The Witch Hunt Finder". As told in track 2 those who study dark magic devised a counter action to this called "The Witches Eve" also known as "The Day of Eve" a night of mass murder and evil feared by all.

Track 6 "Beneath the Citadel" lyrics is inspired by the story "The Fall of The House of Usher" by Edgar Allan Poe.
