manny6666 The opening is pretty with the Female Vocals and Piano. The Horse makes you feel like you are going to be taken on an epic magical journey the first song is cloaked mage cult I like the groovy beat then you get some shredding guitar work overall is pretty fun alongside the female vocals and harsh vocals go back and forth they compliment each other well and at the ends, you are then giving some amazing organs a good contribution to the song. This Album is filled with some good groovy Death Doom. Favorite track: Count Nachtkraken.

We rode through the night Through swamps in the eerie light The messenger brought the scrolls For this year's rite to unfold Every year at night we meet Into the cave we retreat We are prepared and mana drunk Arcane spells and dark magic Cast spells of immolation Midnights incantations Sought out annihilation Immortal minds mortal bodies Through the spires of hatred Comes the grounds of the sacred Mark your curses on the living For there will be no forgiving We are Cloaked Mage Cult the outcasts of society thieves and killers of great notoriety We are Cloaked Mage Cult all followers of the antichrist to sign your way to the damned your soul must be sacrificed Sacrificed We call upon the old ones to bring us the knowledge of the unknown darkness that dwells in all of our souls mortal or undying the arcane power lives in us all Lives is us all! We speak the words so demonic a tragedy was entwined upon it the words that we speak through The Sorcerer's great mystique will bring us all to the gates because, We are Cloaked Mage Cult the outcasts of society thieves and killers of great notoriety We are Cloaked Mage Cult all followers of the antichrist to sign your way to the damned your soul must be sacrificed You will become a victim if you don't join the cause step into the Coven join the Cloaked Mage Cult! (Solo by Brandon Corvus) Cast spells of immolation Midnights incantations Sought out annihilation Immortal minds mortal bodies Through the spires of hatred Comes the grounds of the sacred Mark your curses on the living For there will be no forgiving Cast spells of immolation Midnights incantations Sought out annihilation Immortal minds mortal bodies Through the spires of hatred Comes the grounds of the sacred Mark your curses on the living For there will be no forgiving

They drink from the chalice of putrid conjuring reveal infernal dreams, a spell that's forbidden Through the mist and blackness, the figures will emerge crowded around the cauldron a brew will be stirred Through smoke and mirrors lays the chalk-stained floor Incantations and the accuser 'God' that we abhor Bubbling tar and oil The owl's eyes beneath Passions, wrath, and bestial gnashing of bones and teeth Filling all the air with the choking sulfur thick Winds of fury, light extinguished, burnt out at the quick St Peters gate hinged tight at the Moon And adjacent open the doors of darkness blight Let loose the hounds by muttered words Let it flow from the visions under a shadowy glow We all will be cursed for life when the beast takes his final flight a figure stands so tall from the mixture he can hear our call Instant regret, their blood now flows black, And works through them the lesser spirits they set free (Leads by Brandon Corvus) Sorcery had climbed up and through the tunnel rungs The spell forbidden that can never be undone (Solo by Brandon Corvus) St Peters gate hinged tight at the Moon And adjacent open the doors of darkness blight Let loose the hounds by muttered words Let it flow from the visions under a shadowy glow We all will be cursed for life when the beast takes his final flight a figure stands so tall from the mixture he can hear our call The spell forbidden that can never be undone never be undone a spell that can't be undone a spell that can't be undone

Through the forest to the east, Reveals the coven from the shadows. Overwhelming awe inspiring the hums and screams of demonic rites The damned pray to liquid gods. 'I' submit to annihilation. Complete and violent surrender, The devil's cup of inebriation Sin quenched my thirst under light What is up? What is down? When my mind is turned inside out! What is up? What is down? When my mind is turned inside out! Whispers from the worming shell misleading's of infernal hell forgotten and stripped of all I knew I wear the subterranean pelt I observe the rituals though I can't speak I watched the sacrifice though I couldn't scream I blended with the walls I floated down the endless halls nothingness fueled by anarchy The damned pray to liquid Gods 'I' submit to annihilation Complete and violent surrender Sin quenched my thirst under light of bioluminescent wrath Sin quenched my thirst under light of bioluminescent wrath Spiral sinkholes of untruth My heart was pierced by the demon's tooth violated by perpetual whispers the voices led me to the altar Lead me to my Lord's chamber! Lead me to the inner core! My body controlled by the voice I wanted to stop but I no longer have a choice! So, Lead me to my Lord's chamber! Lead me to the inner core! My body controlled the voice I wanted to stop yes, I did but now it is my choice! When lies become truth my life led me to... This Moment! I am free! this coven in the mist is now where I want to be! What is up? What is down? When the walls speak lies What is up? And what is down? When the walls speak lies

It Lives 05:53
Upon the night The beast is roaming Peer through the woods of Mhovan Watched as he took their soul And ripped through all eternity (Leads by Jesper Curran) Into the depths of the abyss I walk through the shadows of what might exist And "They" come to me "They" ask if I can kill the immortal wraith The man of the abyss It Lives! Feel The breath of dawn He will come to me It lives! It lives! (Leads by Jesper Curran) Watch until the midnight hour It flies and reaps this town Come, follow me The day, It lives We all die When light shines upon the tree It will come forth into you in your memory It comes to you in your dreams He has to flee into the night It lives It lives Watch he will come He will devour The night fiend has awakened this hour The ground shakes The tide of death is rising (Solo by Jesper Curran) It lives!

Guttural howls, Banshee pleas The end bloated with Doom. The hopelessness of immortal life, By nothing be consumed. Magic of darkness flows from the void. They Welcomed all, "we are the apex of life!" Fear be my comrade, my saving grace As the father had turned his face. But now I've found my heart heavier Than the virtuous feather. I sunk beneath the rungs of ice, Shedding wretched skins and souls spliced. I wanted to die but here I am I could not die but now I can as I jump into the well of the damned Diabolic murmurs The coven now speaks to me The inner bowels cascading in, Evil judgment has taken me through the Nocturnal sun event, event Horizon the Nocturnal sun event, event Horizon Horizon! But now I've found my heart heavier Than the virtuous feather. I have sunk beneath the rungs of ice, Shedding wretched skins and souls spliced. (Solo by Jesper Curran) I wanted to never die but now here I am taking my life I could not die but now I can As I jump into the well of the damned I could not die but now I can As I jump into the well of the damned

Father Von Ike- "We are gathered here today to mourn the death of one of our own. Miss. Madoline Mupple. She was killed in her room by the men and women that we've let into our homes, our lives, to heal, and to protect. But they have finally done us wrong, our mayor, our sheriff, and our leader has warned us... and he was right, and they all will die!" Grant Mupple- "I've stood back and watched them for far to long. I've warned you I knew that this day would come! We've let them into our homes to heal, and to protect. But after all, I knew that they would do what they were born to do! So go to your houses, grab your pitchforks and your torches. We head to the forest to the east that's where I seen them. We will knock upon their door and kill them all!" (Solo by Brandon Corvus) Grant Mupple- "Count Fredrik Vince Nachtkraken you're under arrest! I know what you've done, you killed my daughter!" Nachtkraken- "She was dead when she was found! We have killed no one!" Grant Mupple- "Don't tell these people lies you know what you've done! Now get out and face us, face your doom. You've been waiting for this and so have we. You knew that this day would come, now come out, coward! And face your death at long last!"

about

Album Concept (Fictional)

In the early 1500's, before the trials and seasonal witch hunting, sorcerers thrived.
Some sorcerers were even welcomed in communities as healers who were able to cure any sickness, and for 60 years straight there was peace in Mhovan. But over time, their good was forgotten, and only evil was observed.

The untimely death of the Mayor of Mhovan's Daughter, Madoline Mupple caused fingers to be pointed at those who have magic abilities. The "Celestials" were summoned to the home by the family groundskeeper to heal Madoline of a terrible sickness, only to find her already rotting in her bed. Mayor Grant Mupple arrived home on the same night after being gone for weeks straight and he selfishly used the death of his daughter to black mail the magic users.
Murders, riots and chaos ensued in the streets of Mhovan causing all sorcerers, witches and warlocks to flee...

They fled to the east of Mhovan. They traveled miles through swamps and dense forests till a home was found. An ancient cave carved by what was believed demigods from another realm. For the mysteries of this cave was unknown even to the most elder of the Celestials. And there, they stayed for years.

Hatred filled them and time was overtaking their bodies and souls. With all the power they had they casted a spell, this spell allowed the members to have immortality... of only their minds. But they were not aware of this slight miscalculation. They wanted immortality but they were cursed with something far worse. And as time passed their bodies decayed but they remained alive. Flesh rotting from bone, the searing pain of their bodies rotting but death never comes. This group of sorcerers were furthermore known as the Coven of The Ancients.

In current years they keep to themselves unless provoked, for they cannot leave the coven, or their age will catch up to them in the matter of hours and they will be turned to dust. Curses and summoning's happen all within the walls, which live, breathe, and haunt any mortals who dare to enter.

Their Leader, known by many names, but most know him as Count Fredrik Nachtkraken. An ancient man, much older than the others even through their newly acquired "immortality". He had lived countless lives and ruled over the coven with an iron fist. Killed by those who despised him and raised from the dead by his followers over the past 500 years, he is known and feared by all.

The life in the coven is not for everyone, only dedicated followers of the Sons of The Old and the original "Celestials" remain, with the exception of the few mortals whose souls were ripped from their body upon being driven to madness by the evil that dwells in the Coven. The few who did not choose immortality believe they only have one way out that's quick and painless, and that's to cast themselves into the Well of the Damned. Some believe it to be a quick and easy escape, others believe it to be the very portal to the underworld. Although, no one knows for sure, for no one has ever returned from the Well of The Damned.

The Coven of The Ancients have many witches and warlocks to do their bidding for them outside the walls that keeps them living. The Sons of The Old are amongst the most fierce and unforgiving. Descendance from Count Nachtkraken himself and believed to be unkillable. They cater to the Covens every need and participate in yearly rites to curse and destroy all those who dare to oppose the judgment of the Coven.

"I hope you enjoy this album. But remember, listen with your torches lit. For the Count travels in the cloak of night!"

"Trudging through extremely eerie realms of fog and dankness, Klamath Falls, Oregon-based oddity Crypt Dweller oozes out its third full-length volume of gloominess. Miserably esoteric, Coven Of The Ancients is one hell of an atmospheric lumber through death / doom dimensions and is the brainchild of the mysterious Brandon β€œCorvus” Cundiff.

If you like deep, dark and ominous extreme metal that emits strong whiffs of the mould-ridden underground then you’re going to be an immediate disciple of such dismal clanks. For 50 minutes I became enveloped in thick, gloopy mists and a pea-soup fog of musical drudgery which bestows upon you a grim, dissonance brand of macabre weight.

However, it’s far from being a one-dimensional death / doom outing. Instead, there are tracks like β€˜Count Nachtkraken’ which are laced with mystical female vocals and effective Gothic synths, but the general feel is one of a bewitching dungeon that leaks weirdness and doom from its very walls, such as on the slow motion drool of β€˜Into The Well Of The Damned’ and the monolithic rolls of β€˜Forbidden Spell’.

At the fringes of such a suffocating lumber is a cosmic coating which twinkles with a cold and desolate glee as Cundiff bellows morbid prose amidst stodgy seas of chilling turns. Don’t expect any sort of pace as this is very much dense doom that acts as a pitch black blanket which occasionally sparkles with celestial coldness. But from the slogging β€˜Cloaked Mage Cult’ which is again peppered with theatrical female chants, this is a rather mesmeric and spooky trip that forces you to keep watch for any ethereal manifestations that may sweep across that allegedly uninhabited Moon"

"I love the artwork on this record it sticks out and matches the vibe. The opening is pretty with the female Vocals and piano. The horse makes you feel like you are going to be taken on an epic magical journey.

The first song is Cloaked Mage Cult I like the groovy beat and then you get some shredding guitar work overall is pretty fun alongside the female vocals and harsh vocals go back and forth they complement each other well and at the ends you then are giving some amazing organs a good contribution to the song.

This Album is filled with some good groovy death doom, on Forbidden Spell I enjoy the female vocals they are mysterious and spooky and make me think of Candlemass.

The Walls Speak Lies make you feel like there are voices In The walls it's very creepy for sure, the opening beat and organs is catchy fun but also Eerie. The female backup vocals parts are striking when they do happen not easily forgettable.

The stand-out song on the Album is Count Nachtkraken this is when the female vocals shine the most and the guitars and beat will leave you wanting more especially toward the last min.

It Lives is nice because you get slower Doom parts it reminds me a little of Funeral Doom.

Into The Well of The Damned is good like the other songs the spooky female vocals are a great dynamic to the song.

The whole Album reminds me of the bands Skepticism, Candlemass and Acid Witch."
